Angela is a senior at Central Michigan University and was the 10th recipient of the Lem Tucker Scholarship. She is pursuing her degree in integrative public relations with a minor in leadership. In addition to serving as president of PRSSA, she serves on the executive board of PR Central, CMU's student-run public relations agency. Angela also is a member of the Organization of Women Leaders, the Honors Program and is active within the CMU Leadership Institute.

She has completed several public relations internships including non-profit, sports, agency, travel and tourism, higher education and more. In her spare time Angela enjoys playing tennis and being with friends and family.

Danielle is a senior from St. Clair Shores, Mich. She is majoring in Integrative Public Relations with minors in Advertising and Public Affairs. Her campus involvements include PRSSA, PR Central, Homecoming Planning Committee and CMU Cheerleading. She completed an internship with Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan.

Her goal in life is to enjoy her job and life everyday.

Casey is working towards her Bachelor of Applied Arts in Integrative Public Relations and Political Science, with a minor in Leadership. This is her third year in PRSSA, and her first year on the PRSSA E-Board as the Secretary. She has worked on the Professional Development Committee, Fundraising Committee, and Parents Brunch Committee. She is in the Honors Program, and has been a First Year Experience mentor for two years now. Casey also works for CM-Life, as an account executive.

Her first internship was with the Michigan Senate Democratic Caucus, and her second was with Michigan Senator Hansen Clarke. She is currently interning as the PR Director for CMU Homecoming 2009

In her spare time, Casey enjos reading, running and hanging out with friends. She hopes to get a job in Washington D.C, doing public relations or campaign work for the federal government.

Angela a senior working towards graduation this May, finds her B.A.A in Integrative Public Relations and minor in Advertising the perfect fit for her personality. Angela hopes to find her niche in corporate PR, but believes she would appreciate any job practicing her degree. This past summer she completed her IPR internship at Paint Creek Center for the Arts, an art center located in Rochester Hills, and continues to work as the Marketing Coordinator there.

Angela has been involved in PRSSA since her sophomore year and has attended the 2007 and 2008 PRSSA National Conferences in Philadelphia and Detroit. Angela strives to give everything her all and is a firm believer that being comfortable in your skin and making yourself happy first is the key to success.

Katy is a Senior from Milford, Mich. majoring in journalism with a PR concentration. She plans to graduate in May 2010. She has a passion PR but has yet to decide which direction to take it.

Heer has completed internships at Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce and March of Dimes.

In her spare time she enjoys playing sports, reading, watching movies and spending as much time with her family as she can. Heer is also involved in PR Central.

Ally is a junior from Lakeview, Mich. She is working towards her Bachelor of Applied Arts in Integrative Public Relations, with a minor in American Sign Language. This is her third year in PRSSA, and her first year on the e-board. Ally’s other campus involvement includes photography for Grand Central Magazine, and doing PR for CMU’s Museum of Cultural and Natural History.

Ally hopes to utilize her ASL at her future job, whether it be agency or nonprofit. She enjoys taking pictures, and spending time with her loved ones.

Jason is a senior from Troy, Mich. majoring in Integrative Public Relations with minors in Journalism and Leadership. His plans after graduating in December 2010 are to move to New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles to work in the entertainment industry. This past summer, Jason was a Promotions Intern at Smooth Jazz V98.7, a radio station out of Detroit.

Ellen is currently in her second year at CMU and PRSSA. Her hometown is Allen Park, Mich. She is an Integrated Public Relations Major, with a Minor in Leadership.

Besides being on the executive board of PRSSA, Ellen is a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority, Student Government Association, a Leadership Advancement Scholar, and is a Resident Assistant in Wheeler Hall.

She hopes to do her PR internship abroad next summer due to her positive Study Abroad trip last semester. She loves reading, junk food, movies, “The O.C”, and museums.

Carly is a senior from Belding, Mich. She is pursuing a B.A.A. in Public Relations with a minor in Journalism. Carly has been involved in PRSSA since 2007 and joined PR Central in 2009. She is also an advertising account executive/multimedia specialist and PR manager at Central Michigan Life.

Carly plans to graduate in May 2010 and completed her internship at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma, Mich. in summer of 2009.
