PRSSA at Central Michigan University

The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at CMU is a pre-professional society for students interested in the field of public relations. The chapter's purpose for its members to obtain a general knowledge of public relations and to cultivate favorable and mutually advantageous relationships between student and professional public relations practitioners.

The Diane S. Krider Chapter of PRSSA at CMU is located in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. The chapter regularly boasts more than 100 members and provides budding public relations professionals with networking, professional development and social opportunities.

A very active chapter, the group hosts general meetings every other Tuesday in Moore Hall Room 107. Members have a wide variety of opportunities to gain experience in the field by attending workshops, conferences, seminars, agency tours and much more. Chapter socials and community service activities also are a great opportunity for members to develop lifelong friendships with students who share a passion for public relations.
